Youth of India and UK will now be able to get jobs easily, important agreement reached between the two countries

India and UK: The UK’s recent Migration and Mobility Partnership agreement with India is the gold standard for immigration. This will give thousands of citizens of both countries the opportunity to live and work in each other’s country in a legal way. Britain’s Home Minister Preeti Patel has said this.

On the new scheme of immigration, the Indian-origin home minister said that the MMP was recently signed during the visit of Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to Britain. This will prevent illegal traffic between the two countries. At the same time, a clean immigration system will be strengthened in the post-British Brexit system. Patel said this will also help in stopping people coming to the UK from committing crimes in India. But following the law of both countries, there will be a lot of convenience for the commuters, who want to live in India and Britain and work there.

With the implementation of the MMP, from April 2022, youth aged 18 to 30 will be able to apply for 24 months stay and work. Younger populations from both countries will be able to do this. In this new system, there is also a provision to send illegal occupants back to their country. Patel discussed the deal with India at a program by think tank British Future. The purpose of the event launch was of the Fully Digital Border System in the UK.
