You can get long life by running only 1 day a week

Read Time:1 Minute, 14 Second

To stay healthy, you do not have to struggle every day just by running once a week. According to a new study, if you want to reduce the risk of dying from serious diseases, then running once a week can be beneficial for you.

According to California cardiologist Dr. Michael Chan, exercise reduces many of the factors responsible for heart disease, so it also reduces diabetes and hypertension.

The benefits of running have been revealed in many studies. In the new study, researchers wanted to find out how much running is necessary for profit. The lead author of the study, Zeljko Pedisic, explains, to solve this puzzle, we searched, studied and looked at the results of Scientific Literature.

After looking at a lot of data, the team pulled out 14 studies that were related to running and cancer, heart disease. Researchers looking at this data concluded that no matter how much run, whether it is short distance or long, the risk of avoiding many diseases is up to 27 percent.

Author says, it is interesting that we found the short run beneficial, even if it was 1 day a week or 50 minutes a week. There is no evidence in which the gain decreases or increases by increasing the running frequency.

A 2014 study has revealed that racers live 3 years more than non-racers. Doctor Chang tells that the more you stay active and move, the more the risk of diseases will decrease.
