What is ivf

IVF i.e. in vitro fertilization is an effective treatment for couples struggling with childlessness. Under this, the eggs are extracted from the body of the woman and in the laboratory they are matched with the husband’s sperms. This process is done like this:

1 – From the twentieth day of periods, the woman is given injections so that more than one egg can be developed in her body.

2 – After this, with the help of sonography it is checked whether the eggs have matured or not. These are removed when mature. A few hours before extracting the eggs, some good quality sperm from the woman’s husband’s seam is separated and mixed with the eggs and put in a culture dish. This dish is then stored in an incubator. Embryos (embryos) formed from the process of fertilization are kept in the laboratory up to the level of four cells. After 48 hours it is implanted in the female uterus.

3 – Two weeks after the completion of this process of pregnancy, a pregnancy test is done to ensure that the fetus has started the right development. Hormones are given at the beginning of pregnancy so that the fetus can develop properly and there is no possibility of miscarriage. All normal tests are also done these days, which are very important for his health.
