World Goureya Day today: the state’s bird of the capital lost due to snatching house
Goureya Day Sparrows, which sometimes chirp in the house, maybe less visible in the present times, but it has not lost fertility in Delhi yet. If the state bird of the capital gets natural habitat to live then it can become the pride of Delhi again. This is also proved by the sparrow’s tirade around the Yamuna Bio-Diversity Park developed near the villages.
World Goureya Day
She has accepted to get enough food in the villages and live in the park’s habitat. For some time, 40 to 50 sparrows are seen as herds on the periphery of this park. Bird experts believe that sparrows are returning in other parks, including Yamuna Bio-Diversity, but this is also evidence that the bird has stopped appearing in other places after the habitat is over.
Experts say that fossil evidence has been found that the sparrow’s dependence on humans remained in existence ever since it came into existence. They have to live near human settlements. They were given shelter by trees and plants. All kinds of raw and cooked grains and insects and moths came out of the houses and they were the means of filling the stomach of their chickens. The past 20 years of development in Delhi have disturbed the entire system, which has been seen as a decline in the number of birds.
Dr. Fayyaz Khudsar, in charge of Bio-Diversity Park, says that despite these problems, the hope is not over. The most important of these is that the sparrow’s fertility in Delhi is not yet over. With the end of natural habitat, it is ending from here. If the sparrow finds a favorable environment to live and eat, then his chirp can be heard in Delhi.
There are three villages
near the Yamuna Bio-Diversity Park, Jagatpur, Sangam Vihar, and Baba Colony, in large number on the border of the three villages and the park. A large number of sparrows have built a shelter on the border of the village and the park. They get food in the village and a habitable place on the periphery of the park. This has increased their population rapidly. At this time, 40 to 50 birds are also seen in the flock there. Interestingly, the sparrow does not appear in the middle of the park. Experts agree that sparrows do not readily accept dense forests. Tilpat and Aravali Park have the same story.
The little bird Goureya
Goureya Day experts say that humans are friends of humans, sparrows are also friends of humans. Due to being around the houses, it used those harmful insect-mites as food for its children, which at this time the outbreak is heavy on humans. It is also known as Kisan Mitra Bird due to its habit of eating insects. It also eats grains of grains, grains scattered in the ground. The funny thing is that by swallowing the seeds planted in the fields, it also does not harm the farming. It also finds its diet in the garbage dumped outside the houses.
The state bird of Delhi
The Delhi government has given it state bird status for the protection of the sparrow. The government is trying to bring the sparrow back to Delhi. Scientists believe that there are more than 40 species of sparrow, but due to the changes in urban life, their number has been reduced by 80%.
Often live in herds
Sparrow lives in the general herd. It goes for 2 to 5 miles in search of food. It seeks man-made secluded places or crevices, verandas of old houses, gardens to build nests. Often they build their nests near human populations. Their eggs are of different sizes. The female sparrow incubates the eggs. The sparrow hatching period is 10–12 days, which is the shortest period of hatching of all sparrows.
