Instant Messaging App is going to add a new shortcut feature to Whatsapp. Through this feature, users can edit the photo sent by someone within the app and send it to another contact. This feature of Whatsapp can be called Quick Edit Media Shortcut. This feature will save users time. Because currently the image received on Whatsapp has to be saved in the phone’s storage only after that there can be a change in it.
This feature is currently spotted on WABetainfo. This feature will be rolled out on both platforms of both Android and iOS. Screenshots of this feature have been shared through WABetainfo’s official Twitter handle. In these screenshots, it is shown where this new edit option will be. For iOS users, this feature will be towards the bottom of the app, while for Android users, this option will be available by tapping on the three dots on the upwards.
According to the information given on WABetainfo, this feature has not been rolled out for any version at this time. Whatsapp is currently working on this feature. This feature is being tested for the bug-free experience of this feature. No information has been provided about this feature when it will be officially rolled out.
