In his address, Prime Minister Modi lashed out at the opposition, especially the Congress. The companions appealed to the countrymen to differentiate between agitators and agitators. The Prime Minister also enumerated the benefits of new agricultural laws. He said that 21st-century thinking cannot be done in the 18th century. At present, it is necessary to modernize agriculture. PM Modi said that everyone has a collective contribution to increasing the country’s strength. When all the countrymen sweat, then the country moves forward. If public sector is necessary for the country, then the contribution of the private sector is also necessary. Today, the country is working for humanity, so the private sector is also a big contributor.
The Prime Minister warned the country against being misled in the name of opposition to the three agrarian reform laws. He said that new agricultural laws are not mandatory. These are not bonds but are optional. The old system is open to those who do not want to adopt laws. Despite the new laws, the old system will not end. With this, the Prime Minister came to the negotiating table with the agitating farmers and requested the government to find a solution to the issue.
We have used the farmer rail during the Corona era. This train is cold storage on the go. The other important thing that we have done is to make 10,000 FPOs. These are going to emerge as a huge force for small farmers. There is a special experiment to make FPOs in Maharashtra. In Kerala too, the people of the Communist Party are engaged in the work of making FPOs to a large extent. It is my belief that small farmers will become powerful after the creation of 10,000 FPOs.
PM Modi said that Sardar Patel used to say that even after attaining independence, the smell of freedom cannot spread if the smell of freedom continues. Until our small farmers get new rights, their talk of complete independence will remain incomplete. At present, it is necessary to modernize agriculture. According to the market, efforts should be made to have production in the agricultural sector. Small farmers should get rights. Nobody wants farmers to be caught in the vicious cycle of poverty.
