The most expensive business trip destination in the world in 2022 is New York.
The Big Apple is insanely expensive for business travellers, costing $796 a day, according to a report released on Tuesday by consulting firm ECA International.
The results show that New York has taken the top rank because it boasts the most costly shopping district and the most lucrative luxury home market
The cost per day included a four-star hotel room, food, laundry, drinks, taxi rides, and other incidentals. ECA examined everyday expenses in 457 sites across 196 nations.
Overall, the United States topped the rankings, with San Francisco and Washington, DC, both placing in the top five.
