The first match of the three-match T20 series between India and Sri Lanka to be held in Guwahati is good news for the disappointed cricket fans. The Meteorological Department has forecast that the weather will be clear in the second T20 match between the two countries to be played in Indore on Tuesday and there is no possibility of rain during this time.
An official of the department gave this information on Monday. The T20 match between India and Sri Lanka is to be held at Holkar Stadium of Madhya Pradesh Cricket Organization (MPCA) here from 7 pm Indian time. The official of the Meteorological Department told ‘Bhasha’ that these days dew is coming after 9 o’clock in Indore.
Therefore, in the second innings of the T20 International, players will have to face the impact of dew on the field. In addition, water has not been sprayed on the grass of the field for the last three days so that it remains dry during the match. He said, “We sincerely hope that the audience will get to see a full match of fours and sixes between India and Sri Lanka in the instant format of cricket.”
In the first match of the T20 series between India and Sri Lanka, a single ball could not be bowled due to rain in Guwahati on Sunday. As a result, this match was canceled. The third and last match of this series is to be played in Pune on January 10.
