Villagers blow up police vehicle after killing Dalit youth in Mau of UP

A Scheduled Caste youth was shot dead in Asalpur village under Chiriyakot police station in Mau district of Uttar Pradesh. Angry people attacked another caste colony after killing the young man. The elderly Kailash Singh (75) was injured in this. He has been sent to Azamgarh for treatment. Angry villagers set the police vehicle on fire on information. The name of Rahul, who has emerged as the main accused in the murder of the young man, is a prize of 50 thousand.

According to the information, the young man Arvind (20) went for a walk with his companions. Meanwhile, around 8:30 pm, some people surrounded and shot at the Bhainsahi River Bridge. On the information, villagers reached the spot and blocked the dead body on the road.

Meanwhile, a raging mob along with the family of the young man reached Paschipura, attacked and broke whatever he found. On arrival at the same information, the police arrived, surrounded by fierce villagers and set the PRV vehicle on fire. The police force present on the spot informed the officials about the incident.

After this, the force reached the village in large numbers, Villagers blow up police vehicle after killing Dalit but seeing the anger of the villagers, no one could muster the courage to move forward. The villagers agreed late night after assuring strict action against the culprits. ADG Zone Brij Bhushan says that the old crime has been committed. SP has reached the spot. The culprits will be arrested soon. Police have been deployed in large numbers in view of the tension in the village
