The president of the organization whose ‘Gaurakshak’ claims to be the vice-president says that he has been removed
Manoj Thakur, who claimed to be the Vice President of the Indian Guraksha Vahini, killed a Muslim man named Shakir with sticks in broad daylight on 23 May in Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh. The video of the incident has gone viral.
It can be seen that Shakir, a resident of Nar Kheda village of Moradabad, is being beaten and people are watching the spectacle by standing.
In another video, Thakur can be seen asking Shakir, “What is in your car, where are the bills, what is the name.” Shakir can be heard saying – ‘Why don’t you check before beating me?’
The police have taken cognizance of the case and started investigation.
SHO Katghar told, on the night of 23 and 24 May, “Two FIRs have been filed. One against Manoj Thakur for beating a man and the other for not wearing a mask against Shakir. Neither of them are currently in the police station.” . ”
This story and information will be updated after arrival.
When Thakur was directly asked why he attacked Shakir, he turned away from the question and said, “Nobody attacked me a few days ago, there was no investigation. Yesterday, some girls harassed me, it was not investigated. The police does not listen to me. If Manoj Thakur kills someone with sticks then it is a sin, but if someone tries to take my life, is it not a crime? ”
Thakur expresses his ‘loyalty’ to cow protection, “If the government gives me strength, then I should catch the cows cutting the cows every day.”
When asked why Thakur did not take the alleged accused to the police, he said that ‘if I had waited, the one I had beaten would have attacked me.’ He did not provide any evidence or information regarding the charge of this threat on his security.
Pointing towards the CM, Thakur said, “Your administration is trying to kill those people who are doing the work of cow protection.”
Thakur is accused of taking money, which he denies, but the Chairman of the Indian Guard Corps repeats it.
Chairman Rakesh Singh Parihar says that contrary to Thakur’s claim, he is not the vice president of the organization and he was fired six months ago.
“Manoj Thakur was expelled from the duct six months ago. There were many allegations against him for taking money. Our union representatives in Moradabad also gave information about this. It seems that now we have to issue a separate press release and tell them that it is not part of the duct. ”
Parihar said that many people work in the slaughterhouses of the area, then Thakur harasses them. He said, “Wearing someone’s hat to someone, and wearing their hat to someone else. They used to work like this.”
We have not been given any documents to show that Thakur has been expelled from the organization.
