Turkey-Syria conflict: America will take out all troops from Syria

Read Time:4 Minute, 45 Second
Due to Turkey’s increasing military campaign against Kurdish fighters, the US is pulling out all its troops in Syria.

US Defense Minister Mark Asper says that Turkey will carry out its campaign “longer” than previously planned.

Turkey’s military campaign aims to drive out Kurdish fighters, who are allies of America in this area. The US Defense Minister says that he can ask for help from Syria and Russia and the US will not defend them.

However, Kurdish fighters later said that Syria could deploy its army in the region.

Syrian government television had already announced that Syrian troops were moving north to face the Ottoman army.

Here, the United Nations has reported that more than 130,000 people have left their homes due to tension in the area and this figure may increase further.

Last week, fighters fighting under the Syrian Democratic Forces and Kurdish leadership said that if the situation deteriorated due to the attack by the Turkish army, they would not be able to protect the families of suspected militants of the Islamic State’s militant groups living in the camps.

On Sunday, Kurdish officials said that about 800 people belonging to the Islamic State had escaped from a camp in northern Syria.

They said that the detainees attacked the gate of the displacement camp at Ann Issa. A fight is going on near this area.

Turkey’s attack, which began last week, is being criticized internationally. The Syrian Democratic Forces were the main allies of Western countries in the war against the Islamic State in Syria.

Turkey was attacked just days after President Donald Trump’s controversial decision to withdraw US troops from North Syria.

Turkey has accused the Kurds of being miraculous and said they want to drive them away from the “safe zone” within 30 kilometers of Syria.

Turkey plans to resettle more than 3 million Syrian refugees in the “safe zone” that is currently in Turkey. Most of them are not Kurds.

What happened in Ann Issa?

A full description of the IS people fleeing the camp is yet to be revealed. Kurdish officials say that about 800 people associated with IS have fled from there. But an organization that keeps an eye on the situation in Syria has given the number of people who have escaped from the camp 100, but no information is available about where these people have fled.

According to the Syrian Democratic Forces, the camp has housed about 12,000 Islamic State-related suspects in seven prisons, of which about 4,000 are foreign women and children who are related to Islamic State fighters.

The exact location of these camps controlled by the Forces is not currently known, but it is said that some of them are very close to the Turkish border.

BBC Arab Affairs editor Sebastian Ashar says that if the people in the camp have actually escaped, it is not clear where they must have gone.

Redur Salil, a senior official of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), said, “Whoever cares about the security of prisoners will definitely think about a solution to this issue.”

He has warned that the Turkish military campaign is opening the way for the IS to re-establish itself.

The IS claimed responsibility for the car bomb attack on Saturday and announced a new campaign in Syria on Saturday, which it said was a revenge for the detention of its members in Kurdish-led jails.

Turkey has said that it will take responsibility for the IS prisoners who will meet them during the attack.

How is the attack increasing?

Turkey has claimed that it is making its move into northern Syria. On Sunday, Turkish President Richep Tayyip Ardoan said that security forces have taken possession of 109 square kilometers of the area.

He said that the army has captured the city of Ras-Allen near the border of the country. However, Syrian Democratic Forces have said that they have pushed Turkish troops out of the city.

Ardoan has said that the Turkish army has also captured the city of Tal Abyad.

The city of Tal Abyad is fully occupied by the Turkish military, according to Syrian Abzvartori for Human Rights (SOHR), a UK-based organization tracking Syria.

Casualties
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that at least 50 civilians and more than 100 Kurdish fighters have been killed in these attacks in north-eastern Syria.

According to the Syrian Democratic Forces, 56 Kurdish fighters have been killed in the attacks so far, while the Turkish government says that 440 Kurdish fighters have died in the attacks.

According to reports from Turkey, 18 ordinary civilians have been killed in southern Turkey.

The Turkish government says that four Turkish soldiers and 16 Turkish-backed Syrian fighters have been killed so far.

What is the reaction to the campaign?
There is increasing pressure on Turkey to stop the military operation, but President Rechep Tayyap Ardoan has said that this operation will continue.

On Saturday, France said it would stop supplying all weapons to Turkey. Earlier, Germany announced that it was reducing its arms sales to Turkey.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson warned President Rechep Tayyap Ardoan over the phone that his military campaign could undermine the gains achieved against IS in Syria.

The Kurds have made it clear that they see US President Donald Trump’s decision to recall the army as a hoax. They want the US to negotiate a cease-fire between Turkey and the Kurds.

Donald Trump has said that he is ready to impose sanctions against Turkey if needed.

At the same time, thousands of people marched in several cities of Europe including Paris and Berlin on Saturday, demonstrating against the Turkish attack.

YouTuber Praneeth Hanumanthu: Navigating Controversy and Consequences

In a shocking development, YouTuber Praneeth Hanumanthu has become embroiled in controversy following his detention by the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau. Initially arrested for making offensive remarks during a podcast, Hanumanthu's predicament has escalated, resulting in further allegations under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act after he tested positive for cannabis consumption. The Context of the Detention The origins of Hanumanthu's difficulties can be linked to a podcast he hosted, which included a conversation that many considered highly unseemly. During this episode, he made inappropriate comments regarding the dynamics between a father and daughter, igniting outrage among viewers and critics alike. This incident quickly garnered the attention of both the public and law enforcement, prompting an investigation by the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau. The primary allegation centered around his remarks, which were deemed to have crossed the boundaries of acceptable discourse. This scenario raises broader inquiries about accountability and the duties of content creators, particularly in an era where online platforms can amplify messages to a large audience. As a public figure, Hanumanthu's statements carry substantial weight, and the backlash he has encountered signifies society's increasing intolerance towards harmful rhetoric. Charges Related to Substances Things took a turn for the worse for Hanumanthu when, following his arrest, authorities opted to perform a drug test. The results confirmed the presence of cannabis in his system, leading to additional allegations under the NDPS Act. This legislation is a strict law in India aimed at combating substance abuse and trafficking. By testing positive for drug use, Hanumanthu not only worsened his legal troubles but also further tarnished his reputation. The addition of drug-related charges initiates an important discourse about the effects of substance use among influencers and celebrities. Many young individuals look up to figures like Hanumanthu, and such disclosures can have significant consequences on their perceptions and behaviors. The fallout from his actions extends beyond legal issues; it also encompasses the ethical obligations that accompany public visibility. Reactions from the Public and Consequences The public’s reaction to Hanumanthu's arrest has been varied. Many viewers voiced their outrage over both his initial remarks and his later substance use. Social media has been inundated with discussions, memes, and criticisms, illustrating the swift spread of information and opinions in today’s digital environment. Critics contend that individuals like Hanumanthu should be held accountable for their influence, particularly when it concerns endorsing a healthy lifestyle and responsible behavior. On the other hand, some supporters have rallied behind him, advocating for the necessity of empathy and understanding. They highlight the pressures that accompany being a public figure, especially in a hyper-connected world where every action is scrutinized. This divide in public sentiment mirrors a broader societal conversation about celebrity culture, accountability, and the intricacies of mental health and substance use. The Wider Picture of Substance Abuse Hanumanthu's situation is also part of a larger discourse regarding drug abuse in India, especially among the youth. As discussions about mental health and substance use become more widespread, incidents like this underscore the pressing need for awareness and education about addiction and its root causes. The stigma surrounding drug use often hampers open dialogue about the topic, leaving many to endure in silence. Moreover, the legal implications of the NDPS Act spark questions about how society addresses drug-related offenses. While the act aims to deter substance abuse, critics argue that such laws can disproportionately impact certain demographics and do not tackle the underlying causes of addiction. Conversations around harm reduction, rehabilitation, and public health strategies are increasingly relevant within the framework of these laws. Prospects Ahead for Hanumanthu As Hanumanthu navigates the forthcoming legal hurdles, his future remains unpredictable. He faces possible legal repercussions for both his unsatisfactory comments and his substance use, which could greatly affect his career and personal life. The scenario serves as a cautionary example for content creators about the consequences of their expressions and actions, highlighting the need for thoughtful engagement with their audience.…
