After a 3–0 clean sweep in the T20 series, the Indian cricket team will also want to win the ODI series after winning the third and final match to be held at Queens Park Oval ground on Wednesday. After the first match was canceled due to rain, India won the second match by 59 runs under Duckworth-Louis rule to take a 1-0 lead in the series. Now his eyes are on making the series his name. If India loses this match then the series will be drawn 1-1.

The good thing for India is that captain Virat Kohli has returned to form. Kohli did not score a century from the last 11 innings, but in the second match, he completed his 42nd century by playing 120 runs. However, the opening pair of Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma will have to start well. Dhawan is seen struggling in this. He scored 1, 23 and three runs in three innings of T20 series and in the second ODI he scored only two runs.

The team is facing a lot of problems with the number four in the middle order and in such a situation, Shreyas Iyer’s 71-run innings played in this place has given some relief to the team management. In bowling, Bhuvneshwar Kumar took four wickets for 31 runs in the last match and the team would expect a similar performance from them. Apart from them, Mohammad Shami and Kuldeep Yadav also took two wickets each.

On the other hand, West Indies try to win this match and want to equalize the series. In the second match, the team’s middle-order was completely wobbled. The team will expect more runs from its batsmen like Shai Hope, Shimron Hetmyer and Nicholas Pooran.

After the first and second match rain was interrupted, there is a possibility of rain in this match too. The team that has batted first in five of the last six ODIs at this ground has won. In such a situation, the toss is going to play an important role once again.

Teams

India: Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli (captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Lokesh Rahul, Kedar Jadhav, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Khalil Ahmed, Manish Pandey, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Navdeep Saini.
