The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday expressed the possibility that heavy rains may occur in many parts of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected today at isolated places in Saurashtra and Kutch. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain can be seen throughout the day in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur and some places in Mizoram.

IMD said in its All India Weather Alert Bulletin, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected at places like Tripura, Gujarat region, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.
