In the 2020 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the CONCLUSION SUBSTITUTE rule will be implemented. BCCI President Saurabh Ganguly gave this information on Monday, apart from the Governing Council meeting. According to the new ICC rule, if a player gets hurt during batting or bowling, then he can go out of the match and instead another player can come in the match. This is called the concussion rule.
Before the IPL, BCCI will organize an All Stars match by combining the top players of the world. This match will be a charity match. Speaking to reporters, Ganguly said, ‘We are bringing this season’s CONCLUSION SUBSTITUTE and All-Star Match. This time the IPL final will be played in Mumbai.
There will be 5 double headers in IPL
Ganguly said that this season 5 double headers would mean two matches in one day. In this case, the first match will be played at 4 pm and the second from 8 pm. On the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), the former Indian captain said that BCCI Secretary Jai Shah will make an official announcement soon.
