Shrinking all 10 wickets of the innings is nothing short of a wonder. Indian young woman fast bowler has shown this feat. In bowling 4.5 overs, this bowler has created history by taking 10 wickets for 12 runs including a maidan. Playing for Chandigarh, Kashvi Gautam has done all the wickets of the innings. She became the first Indian bowler to take all 10 wickets of an innings in a limited overs match.

This feat in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh

In fact, Chandigarh captain Kashvi Gautam on Tuesday single handedly dismissed the entire team of Arunachal Pradesh in the Women’s Under-19 One Day Trophy at KSRM College Ground in Kadapa (Andhra Pradesh). One of his hat-tricks was also included in this. BCCI has shared its video on its Twitter handle.

The Chandigarh team won the toss and scored 186 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the prescribed 50 overs. Kashvi Gautam also opened his hands in batting and scored 49 runs.

Arunachal team all out for 25 runs

After this, when Arunachal’s team came to chase the target, Kashvi Gautam wreaked havoc and piled up the entire team with just 12 runs in 4.5 overs bowling. The opposition team could score just 25 runs in 8.5 overs and Chandigad won the match by 161 runs. In front of Kashi’s stormy bowling, 8 batsmen of Arunachal Pradesh could not even open the account. Only one batsman, Megha Sharma (10) could touch the figure of ten.

When Anil Kumbel did an amazing job in the test

Talking of taking all 10 wickets in the innings, Anil Kumble is the only Indian to achieve this feat in international cricket. He took all 10 wickets against Pakistan at Ferozeshah Kotla Ground in Delhi in 1999. With the red ball, Devashish Mohanty (Duleep Trophy) in 2001 and Rex Singh (Under-19 Tournament – Cooch Behar Trophy) in 2019 also took all 10 wickets of the innings . Apart from this, the left-arm fast bowler Srikanth Wagh, playing for Vidarbha, took all 10 wickets for 11 runs in 11.4 overs against Stokesley Cricket Club for Middlesbrough.

This happened for the first time in a limited overs match

The 16-year-old Kashvi is the first Indian bowler to have done this feat in the committee over cricket. That is, he left behind even the male bowlers and showed this charisma in the ODI tournament.
