Gangubai Kathiawadi to be released on July 30
The first poster look and teaser of Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi came out on Wednesday. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali shared the poster and teaser on his birthday i.e. February 24. Alia is seen in a very different look in this film. The release date of the film has also been announced along with the poster.
The film will be released on 30 July this year. Alia is going to play the most challenging character of her career in this film. In the poster, where Alia is seen wearing white clothes and big red dot on the forehead, in the teaser, she is seen speaking more than one dialog.
Alia is completely overshadowed in a teaser of 1 minute 31 seconds. The teaser starts with a voice over. At the beginning of the teaser, it is said that in Kamathipura there is never a moonless night because Gangu lives there. Alia’s entry has also shown tremendous power. She says – Gangu was the moon and the moon will remain. Alia has spoken more than one dialogue in the teaser.
Alia said – Do not be afraid of anyone to live with dignity, neither from the police nor from the MLA nor from the minister. In another dialogue, she says – ‘ You are looking very good sitting on the ground, make a habit because your chair is gone .’ There is a dialogue that was heavy on all this – virgin you have not left, no one has made Mrs. Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hashmi and Huma Qureshi will be seen doing cameos in this film.
While releasing the poster of this film, Alia has told that Gangubai Kathiawadi will be released on July 30, 2021. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Gangubai Kathiawadi is based on Mumbai’s mafia queen Gangubai Kathiawadi, who was previously a sex worker and later became an underworld don. It is based on the film writer Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai.
By the way, let us tell you that Alia’s film Gangubai Kathiawadi will collide with South Superstar Prabhas’ film Radhe-Shyam in theaters. Both films are releasing on July 30.
