Special Pulse Polio Campaign to run from 31 January to 2 February

ADC Satbir Singh Kundu took a meeting with officials of various departments regarding the Pulse Polio Vaccination Campaign Program. At the meeting, ADC Satbir Singh Kundu gave instructions to make the Pulse Polio campaign successful in the district from January 31 to February 2.

Kaithal: ADC Satbir Singh Kundu took a meeting with officials of various departments regarding the Pulse Polio Vaccination Campaign Program. In the meeting, ADC Satbir Singh Kundu gave instructions to make the Pulse Polio campaign successful in the district from January 31 to February 2.

He said that all the concerned departments of this campaign should work with mutual coordination so that campaign in the district is completely successful. The ADC said that India has been declared free from polio, but there is a possibility of infection due to polio disease in some neighboring countries. During this campaign, all children in the age group of zero to five years must be given a dose

He said that under the Pulse Polio Campaign, on January 31, polio will be fed at various booths. Whereas, the children who are deprived of the dose of polio will be fed polio dose by teams from house to house on February 1 and 2. As part of the campaign, a target has been set to provide polio doses to one lakh 14 thousand 443 children, for which 108 supervisors have been deployed.

Kaithal: Students cleaned the state school premises on the third day of the seven-day National Seva Yojana Camp at village Shergarh by NSS units of Radha Krishna Sanatan Dharma (RKSD) College. In this program, Ayurvedic physician Dr. Jitendra Gill of Government Hospital Kaul informed the students about Ayurveda and the immune system. Pankaj Bansal, general secretary of the Rashtriya Vidya Samiti, and Dharmaprakash Mittal, collegium member were the chief functionaries in the program.

Pulse Polio Campaign: Pankaj Bansal said that as an NSS volunteer, students can contribute significantly by removing all kinds of social evils. The headmistress got the tree planted on the school premises. In the evening session, Dr. Birbal from Red Cross Society informed the students on first aid and home nursing. On this occasion, NSS Program Officer Prof. Jayveer Dhariwal, Prof. Pooja Gupta, and Dr. SP Verma were present
