You must have heard that good sleep is essential for good health. Let you know that your sleeping can help you with your diet. A research has revealed that taking enough sleep will lessen your desire to eat sweet. This way you will be able to cut your calories from your diet.
Due to not having 7 hours of sleep everyday increases the risk of heart disease. It also has an effect on metabolism. However, taking adequate sleep reduces the risk of these diseases. In a research at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, it has been found that with adequate sleep, insulin sensitivity increases in the body. Appetite seems too low, and you do not have the desire to eat sweet or salty again and again. This way you can save yourself by taking extras and calories every day.
Researchers covered 138 people in this research. Some of these people were completely healthy; some people were healthy but used to sleep less, were overweight and less sleepy and pre-hypertensive people were involved.
