Night curfew in UP, 8,490 new cases of corona found in 24 hours in UP

There have been 8,490 new cases of corona infection in the last 24 hours in Uttar Pradesh. The number of active cases is 39,338. So far 9,003 people have died from the infection. Lucknow, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Kanpur have received 50 percent of cases yesterday. The state government has announced a night curfew in 8 cities. This includes Lucknow, Noida, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Meerut and Bareilly. Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa has imposed the Corona curfew in 8 districts of the state amid rising cases of corona. He informed that from 10 April to 20 April, night curfew (Corona curfew) will remain in force from 10 am to 5 am. Nocturnal curfew will be applicable in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Mangaluru, Kalaburgi, Bidar, Tumkuru, Udupi, and Manipal districts of Karnataka.

Bharti Dasan said that keeping in mind the situation of Corona, the Raipur district is being declared as a Containment Area from 6 pm on April 9 to 6 am on April 19. During this period all the boundaries of the district will remain sealed. The lockdown has been implemented from Tuesday in the Durg district of the state in view of increasing cases of coronavirus infection, which will last till April 14.

The Punjab government has announced the imposition of a night curfew in the state till April 30. This curfew will be applicable in all districts of the state. Night curfew will start from 9 am tonight and will be in force till 5 am. Earlier, the night curfew was applicable only in 12 districts of the state till April 10, but now it has been announced to apply in this entire state.
