SCO Summit: Modi-Imran’s brief meeting ended in Bishkek

New Delhi. At the international forums, the presence of Indian and Pakistani leaders together is always special and this time it is special. There was a brief meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan who finally came to attend the SCO meeting.

This meeting is limited to just asking for normal movement. In the two days of the two-day long meeting, the two leaders appeared in front of each other, but there was no discussion before or there was no formalization in the public for general manners.

On Thursday, Modi and Khan had twice joined the heads of other member states of the SCO at the same ceremony, while from Friday morning till late evening, they were together in five concerts. Three times a photo session took place and there was a gap between the two leaders.

Earlier, quoting sources from the Pakistan Foreign Ministry, the news came out that there was a general meeting between the two leaders. This was confirmed by the Indian Foreign Ministry later. Sources in the Pakistan Foreign Ministry also said that the recently concluded elections in India were discussed between the two leaders, but the Indian side has made it silent.
