Tendulkar’s team has five Indian players (Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja and Jaspreet Bumrah) but the wicketkeeper-batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni is not included.
Rohit and Johnny Bairstow will be the two openers, while Williamson will come in to bat at number three. Indian captain Kohli is number four batsman and after him, Shakib-al-Hasan, Ben Stokes, Pandya and Jadeja are number one.
Tendulkar chose Mitchell Starc, Jopra Archer and Bumrah as their three fast bowlers. Earlier, the ICC had also selected 11 World Cup players in which only Rohit and Bumrah were given the place.
