Rumours are flying fast and furiously about the launch of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 which is expected to hit the market soon. Recently, the phone was spotted in TENAA- China’s version of the FCC in the US. This new upcoming phone from the market’s leading brand has thin bezels and has cleared the Chinese telecommunications authority TENAA ahead of its launch. The new device comes with the display size of 18.9 inches and is completely different in terms of front look.

The new Redmi Note 5 features Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 636 processor and packs Octa-Core CPU along with Adreno 509GPU. It carries 18:9 aspect ratios which is becoming quite common in a smartphone. The smartphone carries dual 16 MP main camera and 8MP front camera. However, it is still not confirmed about its camera features.
The phone will be available in 3 different variants-one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, another one with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage, the last will be available with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. All three variants will come with different price tags and carries a 4000mAh battery inside.
The device supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB) and runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat.
Redmi series phones from Xiaomi are currently holding strong market with multiple products with smart features and classy looks. With its every new launch, the brand is improving in terms of look and specifications. With the assumption of Redmi Note 5 launch, the brand will certainly promote heavily in India, where the market is vast.
With other brands including Apple, Samsung, Vivo, and Oppo having a strong base in the Indian market, Xiaomi is also winning hearts by offering low-cost phones with high-end features and rich designs. The launch is expected by the first half of 2018 and many things are yet to be cleared from the brand itself.
