Rashid Khan created history, became the world’s first Test captain in this case
Rashid Khan Age Bangladesh vs Afghanistan only Test: The only Test match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan in Chittagong is being played today i.e. from Thursday. In this match, the captain of Afghanistan team Rashid Khan has created a new history. Young leg-spinner Rashid Khan became the first player in the world to captain the Test at the youngest.
In the only Test match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan, Afghanistan team captain Rashid Khan has won the toss and elected to bat. This is the third Test match of Afghanistan team. Earlier, the Afghan team has played one Test match against India and Ireland, in which the Afghanistan team has lost to India and defeated Ireland.
Before Rashid Khan, Afghanistan’s Test team was captained by Asghar Afghan in both matches, but as soon as he took the field against Bangladesh on September 5, Rashid Khan created a new history. Rashid Khan has become the youngest captain in the history of Test cricket. Rashid Khan’s age is 20 years 350 days on 5 September 2019, which is by far the lowest edge of a Test captain.
Before Rashid Khan, this world record was in the name of Zimbabwe team captain Tatenda Taibu, who captained the Test team at the age of 20 years 358 days. Tatenda Taibu first captained the Test match against Sri Lanka in the year 2004.
