Rajkumar Rao revealed, why he rejected Karan Johar’s ‘Dostana 2’

Bollywood’s talented actor Rajkumar Rao has given three tremendous films at the box office, which have earned a bang. After the movie “Stree”, “Bareilly ki Barfi” and “Judgemental Hai Kya”, now Rajkumar Rao is bringing a comedy film like Made in China, in which he will be seen playing the role of a Gujarati businessman.

Recently, during an interview, Rajkumar Rao revealed that he had been offered ‘Dostana 2’, produced by Karan Johar, but left the film.

Rajkumar Rao said that Karan Johar is one of the best filmmakers of today and I always wanted to work with him. Recently we both discussed about Dostana 2 but I am not able to do this film.

According to the film, my dates are not empty, which is why I have not signed Dostana 2. Although I hope we both join hands for a film soon.

Rajkummar Rao revealed that Dostana 2 director Colin D Kanha is a friend of his FTII days. At the same time, the script of this film is also excellent, but its shooting schedule was getting clashed with his Priyanka Chopra project.

Significantly, Rajkumar Rao is working on The White Tiger alongside Priyanka Chopra. This is a novel by Arvind Adiga. Talking about Dostana 2, it will now feature artists like Jahnavi Kapoor, Karthik Aryan and Lakshya. Lakshya is going to make his Bollywood debut with Dostana 2.
