Rajasthan: Under the overall lockdown from May 10 – Understand the rules
In view of the increasing cases of Covid, the Rajasthan government has announced a 14-day lockdown.
In view of the increasing cases of Covid, the Rajasthan government has announced a 14-day lockdown in the state. This lockdown will be applicable from 5 am on May 10 to 5 am on May 24. The government has said that these important steps have been taken to break the chain of corona infection. Along with this, the government has also given advice on organizing the wedding in the state and said that wedding ceremonies should be held only after 31 May 2021.
Important things about the government order:
- Marriage ceremonies should be held in the state only after May 31, 2021.
- Any type of ceremony, DJ, procession or banquet related to marriage will not be allowed till 31 May.
- Marriage will be allowed in the form of a house or court marriage, in which only 11 people can be involved. This will have to be reported on the Covid portal of Rajasthan.
- Places like marriage garden, marriage hall and hotel will be closed for the wedding ceremony.
- No group meals will be allowed.
- MNREGA work will be postponed.
- All types of religious places will remain closed.
- All types of private or government vehicles, except medical services, will not be allowed.
- There will be a complete ban on all types of transportation except medical, other emergency services in the state, from one district to another district, from one city to another, from city to village, from village to city and from village to village.
- Passengers coming from outside in the state must show a 72-hour-old negative RT-PCR report. If negative report is not shown then it will be quarantined for 15 days.
