Protests continue in Hong Kong, police again deteriorate

Hundreds of pro-democracy agitators took out a procession in front of the shopping mall of the metropolis and disrupted the business there. The agitators did so against the police’s move to seal a mall in the tourist district. It was sealed by the police due to the ruckus in this mall on Christmas. During the uproar, a young man was injured after falling in the mall.

On Tuesday, the agitators held demonstrations at shopping malls across the metropolis on the occasion of Christmas. In many areas, when police left tear gas shells to disperse the agitators, they became violent. Demonstrations have continued outside the shopping mall since then. In view of these demonstrations, police have increased security and patrolling around shopping centers. A young agitator named Sandy said that the purpose of the movement on Christmas was to show people that they have not forgotten their goal on the festival, their first goal is to demand democracy.

However, the police created an atmosphere of confrontation by firing tear gas shells and sticks which caused problems to the general public. During the nearly seven-month agitation, the police have spoiled the atmosphere dozens of times. Used force on peacefully agitating people, which worsened the situation.
