Preparation of the country’s largest airport will start in 2023, the first flight will cost 15754 crores
New Delhi. Construction of the country’s largest airport will start in January or February next year. The first flight from this airport will start in 2023. In the first phase, two air stripes will be constructed. The remaining four air stripes will be constructed later. About 15,754 crores will be spent on this. It will be the most modern airport in the country. According to experts, this airport will bring Indian airports to the ranks of airports like London and New York.
5 million passengers expected to come
Noida International Airport Company Limited (Niall) on Friday issued the bid for Noida International Greenfield Airport, the country’s proposed largest airport. Bidder selection process will be completed by November. The airport is expected to have 50 million passengers in the beginning of the year itself.
Six approved runways approved
Arunavir Singh, CEO of Noida International Airport Limited Jewelery, has issued Global Tenders for construction work on Thursday. He said that Noida International Airport has got approval from the Uttar Pradesh Council for making six runways. However, it was agreed upon to make the first two runways. But after this new sanction, it will be the country’s first major airport. Currently, there are more than six lane airports in some countries of the world.
Airport will be built in four phases
They said that this airport will be built in four phases. In the first phase, a two-runway airport will be built up to Rs 4086 crore and by 2023. After this, the second phase will be completed by 2030, the third by 2035 and the fourth phase will be completed by 2039.
