Pregnancy Health Tips Pregnancy is a common problem of foot pain and swelling, which can be reduced to a great extent by paying little attention.

During pregnancy, the weight of women increases and all the body weight is on their feet, so often they have problems in the legs and they take serious form when they are not paying attention. 
Swelling of the feet occurs in the first few months of pregnancy, which is less in the morning and more in the evening. 
In such situations many times, blue colored webs emerge on the skin of the thyss of women. 
In some women, these veins become thick. 
This is called the problem of varicose veins. 
Sometimes blood gets accumulated in the legs. 
Due to which, there is redness and swelling in the feet. 
This condition sometimes proves fatal for the mother and the fetus.

1 . Regular walking and light foot exercise are most important during pregnancy. 

2 . Get your feet checked by a vascular surgeon every two months.

3 . If you are working from home, keep moving your legs in between.

4 . Pregnant women should try to ensure that their feet do not cause any problems, because they may have to take a variety of medicines in case of foot problems, which can harm the baby growing in the womb. 

5 . If there is sudden swelling in the feet, immediately go to a hospital where there is a 24-hour availability of a vascular or cardio vascular surgeon and facilities for angiography, MR venogram and Dapler study.

6 . Do not sit in the sun for long. The veins of the feet become larger in size due to heat and impure blood starts to collect more there.

7 . Avoid standing in the same posture for more than one hour continuously. Do not sit on your legs for too long. Do not use a chair with tight edges.

8 . After very tired activities, pour cold water on the feet. Keep a pillow under the feet while lying down.
