PM Modi’s brother starts Protest at Lucknow Airport
Prahlad Modi, brother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, sat on a hunger strike at Amausi Airport on Wednesday. He alleged that the Lucknow police have taken into custody the workers who came to the airport to welcome him. The police released the detained activists in a hurry when the matter went viral on social media. After fasting for about two hours, Prahlad Modi left for Sultanpur by road. On the other hand, ADCP Chiranjeev Nath Sinha denied that.

Maya A. Anand, national vice president of Yoga Social Society, said that Prahlad Modi is on a four-day tour to participate in the social event. He was to stop in Lucknow and join the program organized in several districts including Sultanpur, Jaunpur, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj. The police took custody of the society’s guardian Chinhat resident Hariram on Tuesday night. On Wednesday, Prahlad Modi came to know about this when he landed at Amausi Airport. Meanwhile, more than 10 activists who visited him were taken into custody by the police. Modi got angry at this and sat on a hunger strike demanding his release.
Modi says that he came to Lucknow to go to Sultanpur to attend a private event. They came to know that their workers were detained by the police and stationed in the police station. They are being sued. How can it be that my children are in jail and I stay out? After this, he sat on a hunger strike at the airport. The Lucknow police explained to him that there was an order in this regard from the PMO. On this, he said that neither the government nor the PMO will benefit from hooliganism. However, on leaving the workers after two hours, Modi ended the fast and left for Sultanpur.
