The Digital Services of the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) allows subscribers to check at home the amount deposited in their PF account. EPF subscribers can check PF balance through their UAN (Universal Account Number). You can check your PF balance through EPFO’s SMS service, through missed calls, through EPFO portal and through Umang app.
This is how you can check PF balance through message
If your UAN is active, you can check the PF balance by sending a message from your registered mobile number. For this, you have to go to your right message box and type – “EPFOHO UAN” and send it to the number 7738299899. After that you will be sent by EPFO through account balance message.
Missed call service: Subscriber can get PF balance through a missed call on registered phone number ‘011-22901406’ on UAN portal. The call will automatically disconnect after two rings on your phone. After this, you will get PF balance through message. This is a completely free service.
Through EPFO portal: PF subscribers can also get information about the amount deposited in their PF account through EPFO portal. For this, they have to login through their UAN and password at https://passbook.epfindia.gov.in/MemberPassBook/Login.
Through ‘Umang’ app: EPF members can get account balance and EPF statement through mobile app ‘Umang’. This app is available in many different languages.
