Parliament Attack: 18th Anniversary Of Attack In Parliament, These Leaders Paid Tribute Including President Ramnath Kovind
New Delhi Today is the 18th anniversary of the 2001 attack in Parliament. Many officials including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind have paid tribute to the people killed in this terrorist attack. In a tweet, he wrote that he paid tribute to those killed in the 2001 Parliament attack.
Apart from the President, Union Minister Hardeep Puri has also tweeted and paid tribute to those killed in this attack. In a tweet, he wrote that I salute all those who lost their lives in that attack.
On this day in 2001, terrorists of Afzal Guru, a member of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed, carried out. The master mind of this attack was Fazal Guru. In this attack, 5 terrorists were killed by the security personnel. At the same time, 9 people lost their lives in this attack.
