Pakistan’s Punjab Badly Affected By Corona Virus, Total 4,474 People Infected

The number of cases of corona virus in Pakistan is constantly increasing. On Friday, the number of people infected with Kovid-19 rose to 4,474, while the death toll across the country has risen to 65.
Dawn has quoted official figures that Punjab province has the highest number of corona virus cases in Pakistan. There are about half of the number of infected people in the country. Sindh is the second most affected province after Punjab, where 1,128 positive cases have been reported so far. At the same time, according to official figures, 572 people across the country have recovered from the disease.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has once again appealed the people to follow the government guidelines on social distancing. Army Chief General Bajwa held a meeting with his top generals. During this time he reviewed regional and national security issues with special emphasis on the situation arising out of Kovid-19.
Globally, the number of patients infected with the corona virus has crossed 15 million. While a total of 95 thousand people have died so far. In addition, three hundred and fifty thousand people infected with the virus have been cured worldwide.
