Pakistan Cricket Board i.e. PCB chairman Ehsan Mani has made a big claim about the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, which is hosted by India. The head of the PCB has said that the T20 World Cup will not be played in India, but in the United Arab Emirates i.e. UAE, because the situation of corona virus in India is quite frightening.

Speaking to the media after the Inter-Provincial Coordination Ministry (IPC) meeting, the PCB chairman said that the ICC T20 World Cup is being taken to the UAE. He said, “The ICC T20 World Cup to be held in India is now going to be held in UAE. India is forced to organize the remaining matches of IPL 2021 in UAE due to Corona. In such a situation, Pakistan has to organize the remaining PSL matches in Abu Dhabi. There was no option but to shift the venue.”

Mani further said that the entire cricket schedule around the world is under pressure. “It is not easy to organize a cricket match these days. All the cricket boards are making adjustments and the PCB has not done anything new,” he said. The PCB chairman said the safety of all those involved in such national and international commitments should be a top priority. “We can’t take any risk. The safety of the players and officials should be our top priority,” he says.

Asked about the detailed outcome of the last ICC meeting, he said he was not in a position to share the details with the media. Earlier, the PCB chairman had again come under criticism from the NA committee for refusing to share the salary details of PCB chief executive Wasim Khan with the House again. However, he said that he can do so in an in-camera meeting.
