With the entry of a new variant of coronavirus – Omicron, the Delhi government is on top of its feet and is engaged in its preventions and preparations. Viewing the danger of another layer of Covid the Kejriwal government has arranged for oxygen beds, medicines, and necessary equipment.
The government is constantly monitoring it and said that as we all know the new variant has been confirmed in the investigation and entered Delhi but there is no need to panic. Government is all set to arrange the needful equipment, the government has prepared 30 thousand oxygen beds, in which there are 10 thousand ICU beds. Instructions have been to install the telemetry devices so that oxygen is available in real-time.
The government has focused on training the doctors to wave off the Covid zone. There are about 4673 doctors, 1707 medical students, 6265 nurses, and 2726 paramedics people who are trained by the Government.
In case of emergency, Kejriwal has given an emergency covid helpline number 1031to help patients. The helpline provides 24 hours surveillance.

No Lockdown in Delhi
With respect to the news of Omicron, the people of India are suspecting a lockdown in Delhi but the Kejriwal Government removed the confusion. The government is following the “Graded Response Action Plan” he said that there is no possibility of lockdown as off now.
‘Caution needed’
As per the reports, Omicron spreads very fast, so there is a need to be very careful. To remove the spread of the Omicron the government appealed to the people that the mask is the only shield to avoid every variant of the virus.
