New rates of Petrol-Diesel continue

Petrol-Diesel rates did not go up on Thursday. However, in the international market, Brent Crude has crossed $ 69 per barrel. But the oil companies did not increase the price of both fuels (Petrol-Diesel). Petrol in Delhi is Rs 92.05 per liter while diesel is running at Rs 82.61 per liter. On Wednesday, the price of petrol and diesel was increased by 25-25 paise per liter.

Close to 100 petrol

On the other hand, the regular retail prices of petrol and diesel in Mumbai may soon cross Rs 100 per liter and Rs 90 per liter respectively. The rates of petrol and diesel in Mumbai on Thursday are 98.36 and 89.75 rupees / liter respectively. Petrol-Diesel is 92.16 and 85.45 rupees per liter in Kolkata and 98.84 and 87.49 rupees per liter in Chennai.

Why is oil getting expensive

Petrol and diesel prices reached an all-time high in October 2018 when crude oil prices were above $ 80 a barrel. Although the situation is different this time, the price of crude oil is now $ 69 per barrel. Yet oil companies are increasing the rate.
