NATIONAL NGO – AN NGO WITH A DIFFERENCE

National Organization for Social Empowerment (NOFSE) is a registered NGO working for the underprivileged and differently abled individuals in society. National Ngo’s vision is ‘inclusiveness’ and they believe that basic amenities and facilities should not be a privilege but a right. National NGO tries its best to ensure that there are no disadvantages for the disabled and differentially abled.

Through social interventions and noble endeavors National NGO is working to advance the rights of persons with disabilities so as to enable independence and self-sustainment

National NGO was established in 2012 and has been continually working for the cause of integrating the less fortunate and differently abled into mainstream society.

Working in small teams they ensure that they are able to support the less fortunate and disabled to become independent and self-sufficient.

Their volunteers have worked in the capacities of facilitators, counselors, friends and teachers amongst others. They leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the dreams of the disabled are transformed into reality

National NGO mainly focuses on: Healthcare, Education, Food Security, and Empowerment.

They try to ensure a better quality of life and better health for the marginalized sections of society. They constantly organize camps and workshops to educate the less fortunate about hygiene and health and also act as intermediaries between the donors and the needy.

As part of this endeavor, they also run a rehabilitation center in Tughlakabad which acts as a shelter to many differently abled and underprivileged children from neighboring areas

The success stories of these youngsters is testimony of their work and also inspire them to put in more efforts to improve their quality of life of these individuals.

In their endeavor to ensure basic food and nutrition for all they regularly conduct food donation camps across the city and become more active especially in times of Disaster relief.

National NGO has taken many strides forward in the areas of Education and Empowerment and believe that they are complimentary to each other. They strongly believe that education is a great leveler and can improve the quality of life of all sections of the society.

In this area they are working towards providing free education to underprivileged children in various parts of the city and are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that education becomes accessible to all especially the disabled and less fortunate.
