
More than 13.5 million cases of corona virus worldwide,

Washington, IANS. Globally, corona virus cases are increasing steadily and rapidly. According to Johns Hopkins University, the total number of corona virus (COVID-19) cases worldwide has crossed the figure of 1.35 million (13.5 million). Whereas, more than 583,000 people have died due to the virus so far. The university’s Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) said in its latest update that on Thursday morning, the total number of cases stood at 13,070,97, while deaths had risen to 583,359.
According to CSSE, the United States has the highest number of infections and deaths in the world, 3,495,536 and 137,358 respectively. Brazil came in second with 1,966,748 infections and 75,366 deaths.
Talking about Corona infected cases, India has come in third place with 936,181 points. Russia (745,197), Peru (337,751), Chile (317,657), Mexico (317,635), South Africa (311,049), Britain (293,469), Iran (293,469) are behind. 264,561), Spain (257,494), Pakistan (255,769), Italy (243,506), Saudi Arabia (240,474), Turkey (215,940), France (210,568), Germany (200,890), Bangladesh (193,590), Colombia (159,898), Argentina (111,146), Canada (110,693) and Qatar (104,983), data from CSSE shows.
