Moon age more than about estimate know about the study

Berlin, Patri. A new study has been done about the age of the moon. It was found that the moon was made about five million years after the solar system came into being.

This indicates that the Moon’s age is more than its predecessor. In earlier studies, it was estimated that the moon came into existence some 15 million years after the solar system was formed.

Scientists from the University of Cologne of Germany have done this new study. They found that the solar system was built around 4.56 billion years ago. While the Moon made 4.51 billion years ago.

During the Apollo mission, scientists analyzed the chemical combination of samples collected from the moon. Based on this, the age of the moon has been assessed.

Raul Fonseca, a researcher at Cologne University said, “The elements found in the rocks made at different times of the Moon were compared to the Moon.
