Moderna Coronavirus Vaccine Moderna's Vaccine 94.5% Effective

We will soon have many vaccines to fight the corona virus infection. Many vaccines are going through their final stages. One of them is Corona Vaccine of the famous biotech company of America, Moderna. During a recent trial, Moderna’s vaccine has been found to be 94.5% effective against Covid-19. The Government of India is in contact with Moderna so that this vaccine can be available here as soon as possible.

India is also currently working on the Corona vaccine. Along with this, the government is in contact with several vaccine making companies besides Moderna. The aim of the government is to bring an effective corona vaccine to the people as quickly as possible. Moderna has reported that the Independent Data Security Monitoring Board (DSMB) appointed for the Phase III trial of vaccine-M RNA-1273 against Corona virus has found the vaccine to be 94.5 percent effective.

In such a situation, many countries are now contacting Moderna. According to a Government of India source, ‘Modi government is in touch not only with Moderna but also with Pfizer, Serum Institute of India, Bharat Biotech and Zydus Cadila to progress vaccine clinical trials.’

Actually, the rules regarding the use of a vaccine in India are very stringent. According to the rules, if a drug or vaccine has been tested and has received regulatory approval outside India, it will have to undergo Phase II and Phase III clinical studies here for safe regulatory approval. However, the Modi government is preparing to exempt the Corona vaccine in these rules.

It is noteworthy that cases of corona virus infection in India have crossed 8 million. At the same time, more than 1 lakh 29 thousand people have died. India is also testing the corona virus vaccine. Bharat Biotech’s Corona vaccine is in the final stage of the Covaxin trial. The vaccine is expected to be ready by early next year.
