Malaysia: The body found in the forest of Malaysia is that of Nora Quorin, a French-Irish teenager. The police gave this information.
The family has confirmed that the body is of Nora,” said Negeri Sembilan province police chief Mohammad Mat Yusop.
The missing 15-year-old teenager was being searched for ten days. A helicopter was taken out of the forest to the hospital.
She came to the resort to vacation with her family from London and disappeared a day later on August 4 from Dusun Resort, away from Kuala Lumpur.
Her family believed that she had been kidnapped, but the police were considering it as a case of disappearance.
More than 350 people were deployed to search for this teenager. Helicopters, drones, search dogs and divers were deployed for search operations.
Earlier, Malaysia’s Deputy National Police Chief Mejlan Mansoor had said that the body was found in a small stream in a ravine, about 2.5 kilometers (1.5 mi) from the resort.
He told that there were no clothes on the body. However, there were no bruises on him.
