Mi MIX 2 from Xiaomi Launches in India | Newsinheadlines

The much-awaited Mi MIX 2 from Xiaomi’s finally launched in India. The major highlight of this new smartphone is the 5.99-inch bezel-less display with the aspect ratio of 18:9. The large display design makes this model the most talk of the town. After the blazing success in China, the company is confident of its run in India. The launch comes after its premium smartphone Mi 5 in March last year.

The device will go on sale in both Flipkart and mi.com. The company has also released the regular ceramic + aluminum smartphone to India with Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Special Edition that features all-ceramic body.

Specification and Features:

The new Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 comes with dual-sim and is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone sports 5.99 inches full HD display and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The new Mi comes with 12 MP Sony IMX 386 rear camera sensors with 1.25-micron pixels and 4-axis optical image stabilization and 5 MP rear having facial recognition function.The Mi MIX2  comes with 128 GB storage which is not expandable. The biggest highlight is the 5.99-inch bezel-less LCD with 18:9 aspect ratio. The display has pixel density of 403ppi. The top area doesn’t have any bezel giving space for earpiece and carries hidden sound-guided speaker.

Pricing:

The new Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 price in India is Rs. 35,999, competing with OnePlus 5. Available in both 6GB and 128GB, the sale of the device will start from October 17. Presently, there will be no launch offers, but a zero percent EMI offer only at retail channels.

At the time when Samsung Galaxy 8 is going strong and iPhone has launched its latest edition, Mi will certainly have major competition in the market to gain good sales.
