Major Reasons Why Mostly Engineers lack in Spoken English

It is a fact that most engineers don’t speak English well and this hampers their personal and professional growth. This is so because of many reasons but the most basic reason is that because of intense academic concentration there is no time left to master English.

Some reasons why Engineers lack good English speaking skills: –

• LACK OF EXPOSURE: –

Most engineers especially who come from small towns just do not have good exposure and thus they hesitate and are not confident enough to speak in English. But with proper concentration and on phone classes they can improve their English quick and easy.

• NO TIME AWAY FROM STUDIES: –

There is no time left for English because the academics are so complex and take away all the energies of the students. Thus they should devote some time to improve their English Skills as only technical skills will not help them succeed.

• LOGICAL BENT OF MIND: –

Most engineers have a logical bent of mind and thus they never engage in creativity and creative speaking thus their English remains poor.

• NOT USING THE RIGHT BRAIN: –

As Engineers don’t use too much of the right brain thus they do not develop good speaking ability. Thus there should be a balance of logic and creativity and thus by learning English they can make a success of their careers.

• LACK OF TRAINING AND SUPPORT: –

The most important reason that engineers can’t speak well is that they do not get the appropriate training and support. It should be realized that English is a global language and thus proper emphasis should be given to learning English and should become part of the syllabus.

Thus by proper training, Engineers can definitely be able to learn How to Speak English Fluently and Confidently and become a success in their personal and professional lives as well.
