During his training in the army, Dhoni was with the army in Srinagar, Kupwara, Uri, and Leh. During his training, Dhoni took part in the morning like a jawan, from the morning pithy parade to office duty, training in arms training and sports in the evening.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who was part of the 106 Territorial Army Battalion (Para), was seen patrolling, guarding and doing post duty during his training. In 15 days of training, Dhoni was seen working as a regular officer. The picture while polishing his shoes also became quite viral.
Recently, the Central Government had abolished the privileges given to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 and divided the state into two Union Territories. Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh have been made two separate union territories. In such a situation, Independence Day was celebrated for the first time in both the new union territories. Mahendra Singh Dhoni celebrated Independence Day in Ladakh. He visited Army General Hospital in Ladakh and also interacted with patients.
Dhoni is on the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army. Dhoni sought a break from the board to give two months to the parachute regiment. He also did not become a part of the Indian team’s tour of West Indies due to army training. Dhoni took two months’ leave from the BCCI to work in the Territorial Army. Dhoni took over duty on 31 July and remained in Leh with his battalion till 15 August.
