These guidelines have been issued cautiously by Maharashtra Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar in view of preventing the second wave of corona in Maharashtra. RT-PCR test of passengers who do not bring this test report with them will be done at the airport itself. The passenger will also have to bear the cost of this. After this test, passengers will be allowed to go home after taking full address and phone number. In this test, the passengers whose report will come positive, they will be contacted and their treatment will be started as per the rules. In these guidelines, the Airport Authority of India was also requested to allow passengers coming to Maharashtra from the above mentioned states to visit them only after seeing the negative RT-PCR test.

The negative RT-PCR report of passengers arriving by train from these states should be done within 96 hours. This report will be done at the screening station of passengers who do not bring it. They will be allowed to go home if symptoms of Covid are not detected in the screening. His antigen test will be done when symptoms are seen. They will be allowed to go home when the test report comes negative. They will be sent to the Covid Care Center upon arrival. Where they will have to undergo treatment at their own expense. Similarly, the body temperature of all the passengers entering Maharashtra by road from above states will be seen. They will have the option of withdrawal if symptoms of Covid are found. Or they will be given entry into the state when their antigen is tested and the report comes negative. They will be sent to the Covid Care Center when the report is positive. Where they will have to undergo treatment at their own expense.

In view of the increasing cases of Corona in Delhi and Gujarat, for the last two days, there were indications that the Maharashtra Government may demand a ban on the aircraft and train services coming from the said states to control the situation of Corona here. Although the government did not demand the Central Government to stop these services, but it has definitely issued these guidelines on its behalf. So that infected passengers coming from outside can be kept under control.
