At the government level, feedback is being taken from the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts regarding the present situation there. The facts found in the feedback will be reviewed, only then a firm decision will be taken on the entire lockdown.
Currently the lockdown continues with some exemptions and conditions. The effect is that the market is overcrowded. Now the situation is that Corona infection is spreading rapidly from minister, MLA and policemen to common man. The growing transition has increased the government’s troubles. Chief Minister Hemant Soren himself is in the home quarantine. A fear of corona virus has started appearing in departments. However, if the Disaster Management Division is to be believed, no decision has been taken in this regard nor any recommendation has been made.
Opposition on Corona, everyone’s offices closed
In view of the increasing cases of Kovid-19 in Jharkhand, political parties have also started closing their offices as a precaution. The JMM, BJP and Congress have decided to close their offices till further orders. On the other hand, Hatia MLA Naveen Jaiswal and Bahragowda MLA Sameer Mahanti, who joined the party in the house of Minister Mithilesh Thakur, have also quarantined themselves.
The ruling JMM has decided to close the party’s central office in Bariatu till further orders in view of the transition of Kovid-19. The party has also postponed the meeting to be held in 17 districts through video conferencing. This information was shared by JMM Central General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya. At the same time, the main opposition party BJP has also immediately closed its state headquarters at Harmu Road.
On the other hand, the office in-charge of BJP Hemant Das said that after the expansion of the new committee, the situation of unnecessary congestion in the office is being seen. It can be risky in the current situation. This is the reason why we have decided to close the headquarters as a precaution. He said that the party workers have been asked to remain in their area.
Here, in view of the increasing outbreak of Kovid-19, any meeting in the state office of Congress has been banned till further orders. On the instructions of Congress state president Rameshwar Oraon, Executive President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh has issued a letter in this context. It has been clarified on behalf of the party that do not create unnecessary crowds in the office, come to the office only when there is a lot of need.
33 percent presence in the assembly will work
Officials have been ordered to get work done in the presence of 33 percent of the personnel in the Jharkhand Assembly. Also, all the officials and personnel who have come in contact with an infected have been instructed to stay in the home quarantine for seven days. The order issued by the Deputy Secretary has asked to take all necessary precautions to prevent corona infection. The use of gutkha, tobacco etc. is prohibited in the office premises.
