LIVE Delhi Weather Forecast News Update: Water logging on the roads due to rain, people who came out of the house got jammed everywhere

Jhajjam rains continue in Delhi-NCR since Thursday morning. Due to this, waterlogging has started again on the roads. According to the news agency ANI, due to the morning rains, there has been a jam on the Chikkhana Chowk, MB Road and Pul Prahladpur. Due to this, people coming out of the house have been facing traffic jams. The India Meteorological Department has forecast rainfall in Dadri, Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Ballabgarh, Faridabad, Gurugram, Manesar, Sohna, Siana, Babugarh, Pilkhuwa Bulandshahar and Secunderabad. 

LIVE Weather Forecast News Update:  

  • Waterlogging in the Mayur Vihar area of ​​East Delhi is causing problems to drivers. In some places there is water up to the knees, through which people are forced to pass.
  • Rewari has been receiving good rains for the second day in a row. Torrential water has been raining for about half an hour. A slight loss in millet is possible due to the progress towards ripening, while this rain is very useful for the late crop of millet.
  • According to the Meteorological Department, this series of rain will continue till August 25.
  • This period of rain will continue on Thursday also. Sometimes there may be heavy rain and sometimes light. It will be cloudy all day long. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be 31 and 25 degrees Celsius respectively. 
  • The torrential rains of the monsoon on Wednesday brought a great relief to the people of Delhi from the humid heat. From morning onwards, the clouds started raining in such a way that it kept raining intermittently till noon. The rain caused a maximum temperature drop of six degrees. There was a difference of less than one and a half degrees in the maximum and minimum temperature. This round of relief from rain and heat is likely to continue on Thursday as well.
  • When Delhi residents woke up to sleep, it was raining outside. Starting at around six in the morning, this round of strong rain lasted till noon. Light rain continued at some places during the day.
  • According to the Meteorological Department, till 05:30 pm, there was 32.0 mm rainfall on Safdarjung, 25.1 mm on Lodhi Road, 42.7 mm in Ridge and 49.3 mm in Palam. Ayanagar recorded the highest 66.1 mm rainfall. Due to the rain, the weather remained pleasant throughout the day. The maximum temperature was six notches below the average at 27.7 degrees, while the minimum was 26.4 degrees Celsius at the normal level. The humidity level was 86 to 100 percent.
