In fact, Shivraj Singh Chauhan recently made a controversial statement regarding Jawaharlal Nehru. Shivraj had termed Jawaharlal Nehru as a criminal. Shivraj Singh Chouhan said in a conversation with journalists, “When the Indian Army was chasing Pakistani tribesmen from Kashmir, they (Jawaharlal Nehru) declared a ceasefire. One-third of Kashmir is occupied by Pakistan. If there was no ceasefire for a few more days, the whole of Kashmir would have been ours. ‘

Shivraj Singh Chauhan further said, ‘Jawaharlal Nehru’s second crime is 370. Two marks in one country, two legislations, two heads, this is not an injustice to one country, but a crime against it. ‘

Reversing Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Digvijay Singh said, ‘There is no dust on Nehru’s feet, Shivraj. Shame on them. The first Prime Minister of the country, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who is called the creator of modern India … who fought for freedom, whose work and contribution in the national interest is unforgettable.
