Bollywood veteran musician Mohammad Zahoor Khayyam died on Monday night at the age of 92 due to a heart attack. After the death of Khayyam, many Bollywood stars have mourned him paying tribute.

Bollywood veteran musician Mohammad Zahoor Khayyam died on Monday night at the age of 92 due to a heart attack. He was admitted to Sujay Hospital in Mumbai on 28 July after suffering from chest infection and pneumonia. On Tuesday, August 20, he will be given a final farewell at the JVPD Circle in South Park, Juhu, Mumbai.

The film world is in mourning with the death of Khayyam. After the death of Khayyam, many Bollywood stars have mourned him paying tribute. Filmmaker Karan Johar while paying tribute to Khayyam Saheb tweeted, ‘May your soul rest in peace Khayyam Saheb. Your music will always be alive.

Bollywood singer Salim Merchant, expressing grief over Khayyam’s death, wrote, ‘Legend Khayyam Sabah passed away at 9.28 pm. This is a big loss for the music and film world. May his soul rest in peace. ‘

Singer Harshadeep Kaur wrote, ‘Your legend music will always be alive. May your soul rest in peace, sir.

Singer and music composer Vishal Dadlani wrote, ‘It felt like there was a big loss of music. Thank you for your music and your gentle behavior whenever we met. I wish I could meet you more. But I am glad that I have been able to meet you and thank you.

Writer Javed Akhtar also expressed condolences by tweeting and wrote, ‘Great musician Khayyam Sahab has passed away. He has given many Evergreen creations, but the one that makes him immortal is, “She will come sometime in the morning.”

Lata Mangeshkar wrote in his tweet, ‘Great musician and very honest person Khayyam Saheb is no more with us today. I am so sorry to hear this that I cannot tell. An era of music has come to an end with Khayyam Saheb. I pay him a humble tribute.
