IRCTC will run its third private train on this route; Learn the name and other important information
Indian Railways will start operating its third private train this month. IRCTC, a subsidiary of Indian Railways, is operating two Tejas trains. IRCTC will operate the third train between Indore and Varanasi. The name of the train is 12530 Kashi Mahakal Express. All the coaches of this train will be air conditioned. This train will be operated three days a week.
This is the first private train, which will reach the destination after running overnight. Currently both Tejas trains of IRCTC complete the trip on both sides within a day. The operation of this train will start on February 20, just one day before Mahashivratri.

- IRCTC claims that passengers will get more comfortable seats on these trains.
- Apart from this, the train will have LED lights, CCTV cameras. They are being installed for the safety and security of the passengers.

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal announced for the first time on January 12 the decision to run a private train between Indore and Varanasi. He said that soon special train will be started from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, famous for Kashi Vishwanath Temple. IRCTC has been operating private trains on Delhi-Lucknow and Ahmedabad-Mumbai routes for the last few months.
