At the same time, the Chief Minister of the state, Mamata Banerjee has called a meeting of senior leaders of her party on December 20, so that a strategy can be made regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act. Another franchise official has said that most of the members coming to the auction are reaching Kolkata on Tuesday and will return from there on December 20. Therefore, there is a need to monitor the situation in this situation.

The official said, ‘Most of the owners are arriving there on December 18 and returning on December 19, while the rest of the members are returning after a day and will arrive in the city on Tuesday. In such a situation, the situation is being monitored.

An official of another franchisee said that no appeal has been made by BCCI to strengthen the security, in such a situation, look and wait policy is being adopted. “We are constantly on the watch, but we have not yet appealed to strengthen the security of the auction venue,” the official told IANS.
